Little Change in Life...

I joined Sindh Education Foundation (Government of Sindh) in July 2004 as a Intern for SPIEP Project. I had been selected as Community Support Officer in Fellowship School Program, so I joined FSP on 1st October 2004 in SEF Hyderabad.

It was great experience in working FSP program... though a lot of ups & down, good & bad times, deal with every kind of people... but at the end of the day, it was lot of fun and great learning.

FSP give me the most beautiful and greatest gift of my life... Atiya, my sweet & darling wife. I'll always be thankful to GOD for her.

After working for about 6 years in FSP program, I have signed contract as Program Officer in PPRS Project on Thursday, 23rd September 2010.

Hope it will be fine too...

Director:         Kevin Reynolds

Some Words…
Danglars: God knows how you’re going to survive in this world…

Fernand Mondego: Oh, it’s complicated…

Old Man: You know in the end, treason is a matter of dates…

Old Man: At least, I have sympathies…

Jailer: People always trying to motivate themselves…

Abbe Faria: Once I was as you are now… but I promise it will pass.

Abbe: In return for your help, I offer something priceless…
Edmond: Freedom!
Abbe: Freedom can be taken away as you well know… I offer you Knowledge, everything that I have learned. I will teach you Economics, Mathematics, Philosophy, Science…
Edmond: To read and write!
Abbe: Of course.

Edmond: There is no talk of God in here, priest…
Abbe: What about these inscriptions?
Edmond: It’s faded, just as God has faded from my heart…
Abbe: And what has replaced it?
Edmond: Revenge…
Abbe: Perhaps your thoughts of Revenge are serving God’s purpose of keeping you alive these seven years…

Abbe Faria: To my everlasting shame… I did.

Abbe Faria: The following day I deserted, to devote my life to repentance and to God…

Abbe Faria: I am a priest… not a saint.

Abbe: When you escape, use it for good… only for good.
Edmond: No, I will surely use it for my revenge…
Abbe: Here now is your final lesson dear… Do not commit the crime for which you now serve the sentence. God said “Vengeance is mine”.
Edmond: I don’t believe in God…
Abbe: That doesn’t matter… He believes in you.

Ward Man: First time in 12 years, he hasn’t said “Thank you”.

Edmond: Good bye Priest, you are free now… as I will never be.

Edmond: Thank you “Priest”.

Napoleon: In life, we are all either Kings or Pawns…

Edmond: A man is always in need a good friend…

Jacopo: You know, you are wealthier than any man I have ever heard of… whatever your problems were, they are over. What do you want to buy?
Edmond: Revenge…

Edmond: Death is too good for them… they must suffered as I suffered.

Count: This Edmond, you loved him?
Mercedes: Yes…
Count: For how long?
Mercedes: For all of my life…
Count: And how long after he died before you married the Count?
Mercedes: This isn’t fair…

Count: Thirteen year in prison & everywhere else you can imagine…

Count: If you ever loved me, don’t rob me of my hate… It’s all I have.

Count: God! Can I never escape Him?
Mercedes: No, He is in everything… even in a kiss.

Count: I am a Count… not a Saint.

Some Words...

Remains of the Day
Cast:               Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson
Director:         James Ivory

Here are some inspirational lines from the movie...

Mr. Stevens: Well, in the past, the world always used to come to this house, sir…

Mr. Lewis: Some prices you may find are too outrageously high to pay.

Miss Kenton: That’s all my high principles are worth… I am ashamed of myself.

Mr. Stevens: I was his butler… I was there to serve him, not to agree or disagree with him.

Mr. Stevens: I did completely trusted him & still but at the end of his life he himself admitted that, he had been mistaken.

Mr. Stevens: In a very small way I did my own mistake, but I might still have a chance to set mine right.

Miss Kenton: Why do you always have to hide what you feel?

Miss Kenton: You will find that it’s not easy to live poor.

House Maid: We have each other & that’s all anyone can ever need.

Mr. Stevens: There is no use crying over spilt milk besides we have far more important matters to discuss.

Some Words…
Narrator: Give their lives for the forgotten word “honor”…

Narrator: To those who honor the old ways…

Nathan Algren: Imagine someone who hates you with the utmost intensity, grabbing your hair while you are lying prostrate & helpless and scrubbing a dull blade of a rusty knife around your scalp with a saw like motion and let your imagination grasp if you can, the effect of a strong quick jerk on the turf of your hair to release any clinging particles would have on your nervous system…. and you will have some idea of how it feels to be “scalped”.

Nathan Algren: To devote yourself utterly to set of moral principles, to seek a stillness of your mind

Katsumoto: The perfect blossom is a rare thing, you could spend your life looking for one and it would not be a wasted life…

Nathan Algren: Nightmares are for those who are ashamed of what they have done…

Nathan Algren: I will fight to my own people because they come to destroy what I have come to love…

Katsumoto: You believe a man can change his destiny?
Nathan Algren: I think a man does what he can, until his destiny revealed to him…

Omura: We can not govern a country in which we can not travel freely.

Nathan Algren: That is not their custom.

Nathan Algren: You’re angry because they make you wear a dress.

Nathan Algren: Many of our customs seem strange to you, the same is true of yours.

Emperor: We cannot forget who we are and where we come from…

Narrator: He may have at last found some small measure of peace, that we all seek for but few of us ever find…

Torch the light from burning Troy...

Once again people of Pakistan have to endure natural disaster in the face of flood along with man made disasters such as terrorism, corruption, target killing, suicide bombings, so called honor killings, tribal warfare and an endless list of social injustices.

But as a nation of courage and principal we also have a bright past of unity and humanity in such hard times and we always proved the world that “we are the nation of real heart & honor”.

Flood has affected all the four provinces of Pakistan along with AJK and Gilgit Bultistan as we never imagined. No human resources could gather the closest data of this disaster. No one certainly knows how many people died & how many will be, how much Agricultural & livelihood we have already cost and how much we will, how many homes we have already lost and how many we will and the most depressing thing is that the flood is still making damage every day & night. In such desperate times, every human conscience needs to do a little more than just making rhetoric’s or watching senselessly.

People of Pakistan has decided not to sit back but take a courageous step to help out flood affected people as hard as they can. They have decided not to only give them hot food or clean water or warm shelter but try to heal their souls, as this is the most difficult time for any men to uphold their hopes and dreams.

Having in mind that whatever we do, would never compensate what they have lost, everyone started efforts to gather stuff such as clothes & shoes for man, woman and children, they also collect money to provide food, water and medicine and the most marvelous effort initiated by some of them for educating and entertaining the children in relief camps.

In last, we should all pray to God for those who have lost their lives and who lost their loved ones as nothing can compensate a human life. May God give us all the strength to endure such difficult times of hopelessness and misery, so that we could give a better world to our children where they can live without any fear of losing dreams.

Take care and have a nice day...
